Kolkata - Tale Of Two Cites

I recently spent four days in Kolkata with my good friend and talented photographers Swarat Ghosh and Vinod Venkapalli. We had a tiring but wonderful time exploring the contrasting old city and New Town areas. I carried 15 rolls of black and white film but ended up shooting just ten. Obviously, as I have been doing recently, I decided to make a zine of this trip. Making a selection from only approximately 360 images was a breeze and I still ended up selecting about 60 images (perhaps a bit generous with myself) for this publication.

I have built quite a huge collection of zines with my ongoing “Random Negatives Project” and zines from various trips I have made over the last few years.

These zines make it so much easier for me to revisit and browse through my past images and help me get a better understanding of my entire body of work.

Anyway I hope you enjoy this zine and hopefully it will inspire you to start printing your work too.
